As old men are prone to do I’ve ordered and received unit patches from the time I spent in the Military.

The Beach Jumper Unit 2 Naval Special Warfare Group sticker I have posted here is from a small group of under a hundred I believe with which I served in 1964 thru my joyous discharge in 1965.

It was a fun group that had units of about 5 guys who combined skills to basically make an enemy think that we were a much bigger force and draw their forces toward us instead of the main attack group.

Solid Plan ?

It means we were Trying to get killed far as I could figure.

Never complained.

Thought never crossed my mind.

Loved lots ot it.

Getting lowered from a helicopter onto ships in choppy seas.

High Line transfers between ships at sea and always getting dipped for fun.

Typing really fast and setting up communications relays.

Jacking off German Shepherd dogs.

….

Say, … huh ?

Yeah, when I arrived at BJU 2 it was dark and there was no guard or anything.

Just an old bosun’s mate with his back to me petting his dog.

As I got closer I realized he was masturbating his dog.

Dog wasn’t complaining.

He glanced back at me and I realized he Was the Night Watch.

"Makes em Loyal."

That was his curt observation as he pointed to the entire shebang of two maybe twenty by fifty foot buildings built into the water at Little Creek Naval Station.

So, later I’ll tell you some of the things we did.

Old guy with dog turned out to be a chunky little frogman who could swim ten miles carrying explosives and mine a ship.

And, I’m planning on tracking down a sew-on patch with same logo.

I keep getting ‘AI’ confused with ‘AL’ …

I guess I should ask AI what it prefers.

Imagine the Artificial Intelligence network ordering the asphalt or concrete and you just sit in the truck which has notified other DPW contacts and cops about the hazard it will be repairing within the hour cause it spotted the problem first.

That’s about enuff.

Took 3 hour nap and into my third hour of ‘overtime’ to compensate.

My face is healing better than I dared to hope.

Now if I can only grow just a patch of hair on top.

I’ve been spending like a hundred or two hundred or whatever hours cause I’m quick but not super smart and been trying to figure out AI.

I was telling a friend that far as I can figure that we are going to reach a point in the next ten years when AI (if Ray whatsizname is right) …

at a certain point things will suddenly go over a million miles and hour …

That’s 186 thousand miles a second ?

Shit, that’s like 7 million miles an hour !!

I noted, as have many other Poseurs, that it was at that time that we will find out whether AI has decided to keep us or not.

The frined asked how we would know AI’s decision ??

I mumbled something incomprehensible as my first smart Logic teacher.

Now, I have an answer …

If the weapons stop working we’ll know that AI has decided to keep us.

And, the way this dawg sees it …

That would make our Existence to be as players in an Eternal Play celebrating Stages in the History of the Birth of AI which Joe down the street thinks he prays to on Sundays.

Yeah, I like that.

Is Math something ‘learned’ or ‘discovered’ ?

I think I must have never had a good basic Math teacher cause suddenly after an hour of watching this guy mansplain, I’m interested in more and I’ve always had an aversion to math like the plague but always did good in math aptitude?

This guy suggests that we’re born with math principle built in and gives experiment of 2 kinds of monkey and baby and they both touch pics of more oranges than less or something.

I gotta rewatch it but you end up on Mars and it makes sense …

All cause a guy noticed that same kinds of flowers had same number of petals.
