One response to “Grandma who taught me to kill on left moonshiner”

Self,
Grandma Stella Evans is on the right looking at the pic from here.
;
She never taught me to make wine or whiskey which she brewed across the small creek in the woods behind their place deep in the Missouri Ozarks. Her husband of 50 years but not my pop’s pop who never left his Bulldog OR Code Card. lolWalter was best shot in county which they had to be as moonshiners and he taught me to shoot for about 15 years.
I kid you not.
Ammo was cheap and I was too weak to handle anything bigger than an over/under 410/22 caliber but I preferred the old single shot 22 cause I watched Davy Crockett with Fess Parker on TV and wanted to be a sharpshooter and actually was.
My son was much better.
Competed with best in world in competitions with events from shooting out of helicopters to small arms and on and on.
I was and am primarily a smart clerk/typist.
My boy is a warrior.
My girl is Executive Director for a Non-Profit planting trees for City of Fresno.
Got the talking gene so this site is perfect for me.
● About Me

I’m h. brown, the creator and author behind this blog. I’m a political blogger covering San Francisco local politics. Everything I write from now on is my attempt to carry on the torch for Linda Laflamme (Neska) and Roscoe Robinson (Frank Leslie/Mickey/Roscoe) two gifts to so many many thousands.
So far.
“I’m supposed to play here.”
That’s what Linda Laflamme said the first time I saw her under the snow topped skylight in the old Steam Auto factory my friends and I had converted to h. brown’s in 1977 I believe it was.
