So, my point is that the reason I am doing this concrete work is for advancing SF Public Health by removing these little basins that have worn in the deteriorating Clarion Alley over the last 30 years of neglect from mayors like Brown and Newsom and Lee and Feinstein and now, London Breed.

The mother fuckers can’t make a kickback of some kind on a project then they simply won’t do it.

“Don’t bring me maintenance projects we can do in-house; bring me projects where I have to sign a contract.”

So, I got started on the Clarion project because the place is knock-down as exciting as a Fun House.

I took to stopping there at the end of daily walks and propping against the ledge jutting from the wall alongside Community Thrift at the Valencia Street opening to the one block Gallery across from the Mission Cop Shop and nothing but trouble comes from the new Captain outta there.

Asshole wants to build a fucking wall around the place because he hates and the entire class of people he is there to protect.

He said that when an ML reporter asked him when they were going to take down the ‘temporary’ barriers one of his predecessors put up to keep protestors away during an equally dimwit demonstration to fire the best Police Chief (George Gascon) their people had ever had !!

So, here comes da Dawg suggesting that instead of shutting the Latino community out, that the little Irish station boss give them a place to take a piss and occasional shit when nature calls.

Well, anyway … just wanted to explain opening pics I posted last yesterday.

That’s Charles Mougica sitting watching me fill the pothole that DPW painted a target around about a month ago but never filled.

It’s right by a rear garage gate into the alley and people coming out say that they have complained to the City about it for years and nothing done.

Another guy told me that he watched a skateboarder take a horrendous fall when he hit the thing.

It’s amazing that these people haven’t gotten a lawyer and sued the City over this.

I mean, the fucking thing (pothole) wasn’t more than a foot or so across and 6 or 8 inches deep.

Took about half of a 60 pound bag of mix I got from Discount Builders for two and a half bucks with a taped hole in it.

So, a painter who lives on the alley gave me a bucket of water in his long necked garden watering can and we’ll see how final product fared today.

It can’t be worse than it was.

I’m kidding, of course.

I never filled a pothole in Clarion Street/Alley/Gallery and never would.

That would actually be illegal I think.

Never filled any piss lakes with crete to disappear them either.

Just kidding, again.

Again, illegal to do City’s work.

Little wounds

Let me close by noting that I hurt all over.

Not big hurt.

My Gabapentin blocks my pain from collapsing spine.

I’m talking about the nicks around your hands that you forget about until you put your hand in your pocket to get out your keys and there’s a sudden small jolt of pain.

Or, you put on your shoes like I do and they hurt from this or that wound sustained using your body hard while you got it.

I need to do a story on little wounds cause that’s sure as Hell, I’m uh betting, a common ground for humorous discussion.
