Original pics of Fire Chief’s (SF) house in 1923

Campers who follow Fire Fighting,

This is a pic of the Fire Chief’s house at 870 Bush Street in xact ctr of City.

It was built to honor Chief Dennis Sullivan who died in the ’06 Quake.

Only the last two Chiefs have refused to live there.

That, in my opinion, is an insult to Chief Sullivan and the SFFD.

I propose that the City order the place cleaned and painted and put a Battalion Chief there 24/7/365.

As a start, they could polish the nose on Chief Sullivan’s Plaque in Front.

About Me

I’m h. brown, the creator and author behind this blog. I’m a political blogger covering San Francisco local politics. Everything I write from now on is my attempt to carry on the torch for Linda Laflamme (Neska) and Roscoe Robinson (Frank Leslie/Mickey/Roscoe) two gifts to so many many thousands.

So far.

“I’m supposed to play here.”

That’s what Linda Laflamme said the first time I saw her under the snow topped skylight in the old Steam Auto factory my friends and I had converted to h. brown’s in 1977 I believe it was.
