Comments on Mission Local being spiked

Campers,

I got a good dressing down from Lydia Chavez for my full-throated 850 word ‘comment’ on the Parcel 36 controversy and another of 450 words.

She told me to keep it to 170 words and I did that yet a couple of my later comments were spiked including one in which I replied to another commentor that perhaps the ML coverage of the Security Guard shooting was decidedly slanted could be because ML had recently had a shakeup in Editorial as they’ve been advertising.

Comment vanished on the comment to a Joe Barros story …

Here’s another I’m posting now …

Anne,

Port is an ‘Enterprise Agency’ like the airport and maybe one other.

Port is an ‘Enterprise Agency’ like the airport and maybe one other.

They have a separate budget from the General Fund and live off their fees and rents.

Everytime a big airliner lands or takes off at SFO their Agency gets a fee.

That said, the Port had no problem letting a Faith Group live there for free when Willie and Gavin were in Room 200.

Nevertheless, their entire board is appointed by London so it goes back to her.

About Me

I’m h. brown, the creator and author behind this blog. I’m a political blogger covering San Francisco local politics. Everything I write from now on is my attempt to carry on the torch for Linda Laflamme (Neska) and Roscoe Robinson (Frank Leslie/Mickey/Roscoe) two gifts to so many many thousands.

So far.

“I’m supposed to play here.”

That’s what Linda Laflamme said the first time I saw her under the snow topped skylight in the old Steam Auto factory my friends and I had converted to h. brown’s in 1977 I believe it was.
