“I got a bad feeling about this one, Vern …” Shudda hired Peskin for the job ! This guy she hired reminds me of Lurie’s first Campaign Manager. Hired, I think, to signal the candidate’s support for black voters. This guy doesn’t really fit the candidate’s core demographic. He’s a ‘union leader’ the way that Wiener is a big builder of housing. The housing that Wiener clears the way for is strictly market rate. He is an enemy of both tenants and home owners is the basic truth. I watched some of these ‘moderate’ union groups lobby to tear down the union hall where the bodies of murdered union protestors lay in state in the 30’s. They lobbied in favor of a 25 story market rate replacement. I suspect Chan hired him as a fundraiser but his people won’t support Chan. 122 days left by my count. go Niners !! h.
