Re: Is your Liquid Sunshine going out the back door ?

Skippy Brown

Folks,

As a firefighter I’ve fought chemical fires from train and truck and gas stations and we hosed one another down and I’ve managed and supplied janitor crews for years and DPW which first gave me a first rate detergent (Liquid Sunshine) which I use mostly on heavy urine stains from animals and humans and worse on sidewalks in front of the 31 businesses on my route  …  Rachel Gordon (recently promoted to head of Policy at DPW – first policy is to deny me supplies) informs me that I do not have the proper training to handle the liquids they gave me before and I can buy my own steel brushes and spray bottles and go fish is basically what I’m reading here, please let me know if you differ.

Folks, you all know me and you know that whatever kind of political gadfly I may be that I am also the best damned cleaning person you’re gonna find.

The hardest clean job I had was cleaning 100 years of paint off the walls of the steam auto factory that became my bar for 6 months we sandblasted wearing the welder’s gear to catch the sand and lead paint particles.

The strongest cleanser you can get w/out a permit is muriatic acid and that’s for things like marble.

Next is tsp or Trisodium Phosphate which looks like granular laundry detergent and I once put a half cup of it into a bathtub full of greasy venetian blinds overnight and it took all of the paint off the blinds and most of the paint off the bathtub.

Then, you get to commercial uses which include degreasers for automotive and pro kitchen and plumbing and I’ve used them all in my 82 years.

Then, you get to standard janitor supplies like ammonia and Mr. Big Job or whatever and they sent me for last order.

Now, they’re refusing to send even that !!

Friends, before the last 3 years my dog and I have spent picking up trash for 3 to 4 hours every morning of the year we aren’t sick … before that I spent a year cleaning Clarion Alley which is the most dynamic art gallery in San Francisco.

The City refused to take responsibility for the pot holes and filth and I turned in 311 calls one after the other as the tourists passed and finally bought damaged bags of cement for a dollar at Discount Builders and hauled them on a little dolly one by one and patched every pot hole in the alley plus around City utility poles.

Angela, will you represent me in this matter pro bono or it not that, then for free ?

lol

Friends, this is a real situation here and I’m practicing my satire but I’m serious too because I can’t afford to pay my vet bills tho the neighbors help cause Skippy is the neighborhood mascot  … can’t afford to keep buying gallon after gallon of ammonia to clean City sidewalks.

go Niners  !!

Hi h.

We are not able to supply you with the liquid sunshine; that is reserved for our crews who have the proper training and gear to work with this. George can supply you with additional pickers. He will arrange a drop-off location/time wiht you.

OK,

I phoned 311 again and they said that your department closed my request a day after I sent it.

They gave me a new 311 number which is 101004485915

The original request 311 was sent 7-16-26 is 101004445540

thank you,

Guys,

I can’t believe that the two of you are refusing to resupply me.

I talked to a regular DPW trash picker who does good work and he said that he has been being given the green office cleaner instead of the much stronger Liquid Sunshine too.

I simply don’t believe and in my place neither would you that you have been out of the Liquid Sunshine for months.

I think and so would you that the Liquid Sunshine is being diverted.

I also need more of the trash picker instruments.

My last one was stolen a couple of weeks ago and Manny gave me a new one.

Also, neither of you answer me.

Hey, I’m busting my butt out here for free and you’re ignoring me.

I don’t want to go to your commission meeting and air this on SFGTV.

If you don’t answer this I will.

So far.
