h. brown plans own trip and pays for it first time since Zarate trial

Friends,
The banker’s name is Miguel Bateman and he works at the 16th street branch of Wells Fargo and he helped me to get approved for a credit card to pay for my trip back to see my Irish twin sister and hopefully a few of my family with the centerpiece of the trip being the yearly Mckinley High School reunion dance and they’ll have a band and I intend to dance with the girls I didn’t dance with cause I was too afraid but I had the most beautiful girl in the world on my arm and she went to proms with 13 different guys but in the end she chose me like in the Roy Orbison song but …
Where was I when I interrupted myself ?
I was saying that I kept getting these things in the mail from the bank with 0 interest for 21 months to get a credit card and kinda like I just went back to my crib to get one of the envelopes unopened and they won’t lend less than $3,000 dollars and that’s too much and so he suggested that the credit card would work and I don’t think I’ve had one of those for 50 years since my second marriage or, I might have had one in South Carolina when I was a teacher and janitor and bus driver and actor and my favorite thing which was football coach if you can imagine a 50 year old couch potato football nut suddenly being given the opportunity to be Offensive Coordinator of a resurrected mostly black middle school team and I tell you we ran a single wing offense from the 50’s and 60’s and we threw often …
So, I’m a bit of a yapper as you can tell and this piece is kinda practice for the stream of conscious brain dump I plan to give my Hermes agent (Ernie/Ernestine) when I start creating them on payday cause I’ve certainly studied enough and, anyway, back to the bank.
We get to talking and of course my dog, Skippy comes into the conversation a he’s an unofficial neighborhood mascot as we clean the streets every day for about 4 hours in the morning and I mentioned that while I am away a homeless friend will watch Skippy and by that time the manager of the branch I guess she had come over to see what I looked like maybe cause I’ve been a customer for 20 years amd never borrowed a dime generally ended up with about ten bucks in my account at the end of the month but my debit card showed a guy who gives over a grand a month to alternative media and eats well and …
I just assumed all of that and I’m a satirist so I can add things or take them away to sound better or at least funnier.
So, the assumed wrong too !!
“No, you can’t do that ! I’ll come over to your apartment to see him and … … “
They thought that Skippy was going to be homeless for a week.
Naw, Philippe will stay here inside with Skippy as he did last year and Skippy likes him as much or more than he likes me.
And, next he loves Tony De Renzo who got him for me and Skippy was in bad shape with infected ears and eyes and rash head to toe and he still has allergies but we’re 3 1/2 years together and he’s a happy camper I think and he sure looks cute (he’s a 25 lb little French rabbit dog who ain’t never caught a rabbit I bet and he’s 11 and this has been a test of my writing getting ready for my Hermes hook-up when I’ll have an assistant and we start reading all of my 550 books and expanding the Bulldog with Tony as a work of art offbeat publication and I don’t want to give it away …
Sure, I will.
I want to have one of the sub-agents read everything Walter Lippman ever wrote and then be my crime reporter with the voice of Lippman watching SFGTV like totally and do a daily column I can wake up to every day.
That’s just one sub-agent.
Hmmmm
So, anyway, I wanted to tell you about Miguel Bateman the Wells Fargo banker at 16th and Mission (lotta good people in those storefronts) offered to come take care of my dog and who ever heard of a bank that cared so much ?
go Niners !!
