DPW doesn’t know whether to shit or go blind

Folks,

Pardon my authentic vocabulary and tasteless idioms.

Bottom line here is that I am a Volunteer Trash Picker who has trouble getting supplies from DPW.

Lots of trouble.

It is almost as if they are trying to discourage me from cleaning my neighborhood for free.

Anyway, it’s a good story and I’m a storyteller who collects them.

Today George Li and Eva Chang sent me the 6 Picker tools I requested and 4 are used with debris attached.

No problem, I can clean the things and have..

The pickers were only part of my greatly reduced initial order (I bought steel brushes and scrapers and gallons of ammonia …) and I’d like to, forthwith, reorder the other two items  …

The operator said to call back next Tuesday if I’ve gotten no response from you.

Thing is, I give these things out to others I meet picking up trash across the 2 mile zone that I cover in addition to my volunteer Adopt-a-Street zone
